«Fue gratificante enterarnos de la inauguración de la primera Biblioteca de Shoá en Uruguay. Este bienvenido avance constituye potencialmente un paso significativo hacia adelante en promover educación sobre el Holocausto que sea efectiva y significativa en su país.
Yad Vashem está ansioso por proveer apoyo relevante en esta iniciativa y los representantes de habla hispana de nuestra Escuela Internacional de Estudios del Holocausto están prontos para este propósito.
Todos los que han participado en la iniciación y realización de este logro en Uruguay son dignos de elogio.

It was gratifying to learn of the upcoming inauguration of the first Shoah Library in Uruguay.
This welcome development constitutes, potentially, a significant step forward in promoting effective, meaningful Holocaust education in your country.
Yad Vashem is eager to provide relevant assistance to this endeavor, and Spanish-speaking representatives of our International School of Holocaust Studies stand ready for that purpose.
All those who participated in the initiation and realization of this accomplishment in Uruguay are to be commended.
You have been instrumental to the achievement of our vital mission of Shoah remembrance, and have earned our appreciation.
